The summit will bring to students, policymakers, Ethicists, IT professionals, start-up founders and experts in the tech space within and outside Nigeria to share, guide and mentor youth professionals towards supporting the current workforce and creating start-ups that contribute meaningfully to the nation and continent’s economy.
YES2021 is a two-day capacity building initiative organized under the office of the NACOS National Vice President to be hosted across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria starting with North Central. The summit is targeted towards enlightening and empowering Nigerian Undergraduates with employability skills currently in-demand in todays’ market. Soft skills such as communication, technical writing, teamwork, public presentations and problem-solving etc. are additional skills required of scientist and engineers alike to work effectively and remain relevant in our ever-evolving world. These skills will help them stand out among their peers thereby making them employable, providing financial independence as they each contribute their quarter to the socio-economic development of the country.
