The play tells the story of an egocentric and eurocentric village school headmaster who under the illusion that nothing is good about Africa and her ways always come against the cultural values and rubbish the ways of the host community where he teaches the children to neglect their indigenous ways of life. These acts bring him against the traditional rites of the community. The experience thereafter makes him change his psychology and philosophy.
