A Husbands Wife” creatively examines the manner in which seemingly trivial issues end up eroding good relationships. The play introduces us to Tomi and Femi, a happy couple whose relationship appears to be the stuff of fairy tales before slowly descending into a pit of animosity and inexpressible hate. We witness how years of unspoken feelings, misplaced angst and unresolved disagreements combine into a lethal cocktail that disintegrates their marriage and force the couple to question everything they think they know about each other and even themselves.

The play is a psychological thriller plumbing the depths of a woman’s mind and her gradual descent into madness. It is a diary of a man’s battle with a mid-life crisis and it chronicles a ‘’love’’ story that lays bare the inherent toxicity of the nature of this overwhelming emotion.
