The Patrick Speech and Languages Centre began operations in September 2006 as the pioneer centre in Nigeria for educating and managing children with Autism. One of theirearliest pupils was Daniel Okolie, a 4 year old boy who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and had not said a word since birth. At the first visit his mother asked a question “will he ever talk?’ Ten years on, Daniel has grown into a young Gentleman with a proficient command of speech and an amazing gift in Mathematics and Art.
Daniel is one of the many children who have made remarkable progress in PSLC over the years.
